‘Learn to Sketch’

Have you ever looked at an object, a beautiful view or a building and had a desire to sketch it? What stopped you? Did you not feel confident enough? Or perhaps you tried and weren’t happy with the result? Well you’ve come to the right place. In this course I will teach you how to quickly grasp a form of an object (small or large) and be able to describe it on paper in a beautiful way. We will look at different sketching styles and techniques so you will be able to practice them all and choose the ones that you find more interesting for yourself. You will try your hand at graphite, charcoals, pens and water mixable media. Each class will start with a detailed demonstration and explanations and as you move to your own practice I will be nearby to help and guide you along the way.
